Hello peooopplee!!! Happy Monday, although it’s about to get really busy, still happy Monday. 😁

So, I was listening to Moment For Life by drake and Nicki Minaj today and then I was LISTENING to the lyrics and not just nodding and tapping lol.

This came to me and I think in a tiring world, in a world where everyone is up and about, we need this more than anything else.

One day, we will all die and then we will be buried in a coffin and it will be lowered in a dug space and covered up with sand. One day, we will all leave this world and people will cry and mourn us but it is just for a while. Point is everybody dies but not everybody lives!

We all have one life. Are you living? You don’t want to die without living. You don’t want to regret not going for that vacation because you think it will delay your promotion..puleaseeeee.. take a break!

People are an inch close to death but you are healthy but behaving like a sick man because you are not living!

Brother, sister, LIVE. Fulfil your purpose. Play and laugh and be joyous for the world will not become less tiring because of you!

You are alive, act like it! This is a note to self as well.

Everybody dies but not everybody lives- Drake, moment for life!

Have a lively week!!!!!

It’s simple, don’t complicate it…

Hello people. School has been hectic, but we pushing through!

So, yesterday, I was held down by a heavy downpour. I couldn’t leave where I was and I couldn’t go to my hostel.  I had to wait for the rain to become light. Little did I know that my books were getting soaked by the water. When I saw them, I didn’t know what to do. Honestly, I just wanted to cry because it had been a long day and that was the last thing I needed. The notes that were affected are way important.

Before I could cry or transfer aggression to the person that was telling me sorry lol, I just said to myself ‘God, thank you. It could have been worse.’ I quietly lay it on the table to dry and walked to my room in silence. Normally, in situations like these (my books ahhh), I wouldn’t want to be around anybody because everything will be simply pissing. I wouldn’t want anyone to talk to me, i would just want to be alone. When I got to my room, someone was waiting to see me and I was like ‘crap’. I didn’t want to talk or do anything but to my surprise I found myself talking and laughing. I didn’t even squeeze my face or try to stay in a bad mood. Oh I tell  you the devil tried to keep me in a mood but the Lord wouldn’t just have it. That was because I let him take control , I didn’t act on impulse. I let him send His peace.

I have been wondering. If it’s this easy to be at peace, to be happy at all times, why do we get ourselves worked up by trivialities? Always remember that it could have been worse but it’s not! And that is more than enough in itself. When the devil is trying to frustrate us, let us breathe in and thank God. At that moment, you have willed yourself to him and the peace of the Lord is the sweetest there is.

I am so happy by the people I am surrounded with. The other day my friend woke very late for class and I was like ‘ahn ahn why this late?’ and she told me ‘I can’t even stress myself. I thank God for waking me by that time, I know he will see to it that I finish in time to meet the class.’ That is simply beautiful, trust me and yes she was in time for class. We even left some people that were up before her.

Point is, lets try to reduce how we get frustrated. Life is simple, don’t complicate it.

Lessons learnt from the UCL.

1. Do your job early enough and do it well, so that no one would question you when you want to have fun.
A  fortnight ago, the Estadio Dragao was silenced abruptly by the blistering attacking trio of Liverpool, spearheaded by Sadio Mane .The FC Porto players didn’t know what hit them. It was a heavy defeat handed over to them by Liverpool-gigantic L to say the least. It 5-nil! 5 away goals! It was very clear that Liverpool had qualified.

The second leg was played some days ago at Anfield stadium-Liverpool’s stadium. They were able to get a scoreless draw. The job was already done in the first leg and so they ended up progressing to the next round.

2.Never give up on yourself, you have it in you!

Have you ever being hammered, battered and outclassed in what you do best by someone you were afraid of such that everyone just agreed that you were not really as good as what you claimed to be and maybe you have already agreed with them. Well, you are about to have a rethink!

FC basel were beaten and battered at home by Manchester city. It was a disaster. You could see some of the fans weeping and how some were heartbroken. The quality of football was poor from the Basel’s side and no one could disagree that they deserved to lose 4-nil.

Going back to play the second leg at Manchester city stadium- The Etihad stadium- where Man city had not lost or drawn in as many as 26 matches this season-was thought to be even more nightmare for Basel. Everyone said they will concede more than 4 goals again but the Basel players were not going to have any of it.

Man city scored first to make the aggregate 5-nil. How devastating could that be to the quest of redemption by the Basel players? Well, hold your thoughts! The Basel players gave the best performance of their lives and scored two breathtaking goals to win the match. They did it! They became the first team to pick up a win at the Etihad stadium. They had it in them, you have it in you!
